HOW TO PHOTO RAINBOW
Although rainbows are a frequent occurrence in nature, nevertheless, a series of certain events must occur simultaneously so that a seven-color arc forms in the sky. Firstly, there should be a lot of moisture in the air. This is usually possible on a rainy day or after a quick downpour. Secondly, the sun should be relative to the horizon. How to choose and configure photo equipment for shooting a rainbow?

Most often, the appearance of a rainbow occurs in low light conditions, which requires the photographer to open the aperture in order to get more light, but in order to work out objects in the foreground, it is necessary to close the aperture on the contrary. Rainbow is a static object and therefore it is permissible to shoot it at slow shutter speeds, but with the aperture closed.
The next thing to remember during any photo shoot, of course, is composition. Even with such a banal photo shoot as shooting a rainbow, it is important to find an interesting story in which a colorful arc fits in the best way.
Try to find some lonely object that can be placed in the center of a graceful half-arc. In this case, the central placement will work just fine, as visually it will make the frame balanced and harmonious. You can also go down as close to the ground as possible and try to photograph the flowers against a rainbow. Do not forget about the basic rules of composition – use the rule of thirds and leading lines. Where to look for a rainbow?
Although all the rainbow phenomena are formed in a similar way, you can notice some difference between them. For example, a rainbow may not have a full arc, but may go from edge to edge when all seven color spectra are clearly visible.
Often we observe such a phenomenon as double or even triple rainbows. What determines the appearance of a heavenly beauty? Like many natural phenomena – from light and weather conditions.
